When does your Disney dining plan expire? Is it the morning you check out?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Devin!

My family loves being on the Disney Dining Plan during our visits to Walt Disney World Resort. Pre-paying for our dining means that our vacation feels all-inclusive, and we get delicious specialty beverages (including select alcoholic drinks for Guests 21 and older), great entrees and desserts, and two snacks per day per person means we can try so many treats! It just feels like vacation when we can eat like Princes and Princesses in The Most Magical Place on Earth.

Devin, your Disney Dining Plan meal entitlements are available to you as soon as you check-in on your resort hotel arrival day, and expire at midnight on your hotel check-out date. You’ll receive all your entitlements upon check-in, so if you want to eat four snacks one day and use two Table-Service entitlements at a Signature Dining location another day, you can absolutely do that - just keep track of your remaining entitlements so you don't run out before the end of your trip. You can track your remaining entitlements in the My Disney Experience mobile app, view them at the bottom of any dining receipt, or check in with a Cast Member at your resort’s front desk.

Enjoy every delicious bite on the Disney Dining Plan, Devin! I love to read the Disney Parks Blog in advance of my visit because they share so many great articles (with drool-worthy photos) about the latest dining options, sweet treats, and fun drinks, and I can keep a “to-taste” list for my vacation.

It looks like you’ll be visiting during the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, so be sure to use your Disney Dining Plan snack credits at the incredible food booths located around the festival. On the festival’s menu signs, a purple “DDP” logo indicates that an item counts as a snack credit on the Disney Dining Plan, and you can even use a Quick-Service dining entitlement to order three food items at one booth. There are so many delicious, delicious options at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, so watch the Disney Parks Blog for more details as we get closer to the festival’s opening date.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
