    Katie from ON Asked

We are going to Disney in December. We are staying off site. I just purchased our Disney tickets through a travel agent (family). Can I get wristbands, even if I'm staying off site, if so can I purchase them when I arrive at the park?

    Hi Katie!

I absolutely love Walt Disney World during the Holidays. Seeing the Parks and Resorts dressed up in all their holiday finery is an experience not to be missed. I'm so excited for you!

No matter where you are staying, you can use MagicBands for your trip (and I would highly recommend that you do.) First of all, create an account on My Disney Experience. Once that is done and you are signed in, add your Theme Park Tickets to your account. While you are there you can also make Advanced Dining Reservations, FastPass+ choices, and much more. MagicBands are complimentary to Guests who stay at Disney Resort Hotels. Since you are staying offsite, you will need to purchase yours--either online, on the Shop Disney Parks App for your smartphone or after you have arrived. Add your MagicBand info to your My Disney Experience account and you will be all set and ready to go with every element of your Walt Disney World linked together and accessed with your MagicBands. It is...well...MAGIC!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Here's wishing you a magical Walt Disney World vacation and a fantastic day!
