Going to Disney from Dec 2-8, trying to figure out what type of clothing to bring.

Hi, Lori!  Dressing in December can be tricky business.  We've been in Orlando in December and been comfortably warm - like in the low 80s, and we've also gone and I've had to pick up extra sweatshirts because I didn't pack nearly enough!

I've learned my lesson over the years, and I know now to be prepared for everything!  I always bring gloves, even though the kids laugh at me.  You will in all likelihood not need them in the middle of the day, but if you are staying late into the evening for fireworks or extra magic hours, they may come in handy.  I pack layers - t-shirts and sweats, and usually jeans and capri pants.  Last year, I even packed a thin turtleneck type of shirt (think Under Armor), and there were days in late December when we really needed it!

So, bottom line, use thin layers (undershirts, t-shirts, sweatshirts or sweaters), if you get chilly easily, go with jeans rather than shorts; or wear shorts under sweatpants.  And bring gloves.  Trust me.

    Have a wonderful time!
