    We will be at Disney on Dec 18th-Dec 26th with our 2 DD's.We plan on doing MVMCP on 18th.We would like to do Fantasmic and the Candlelight Processional.Struggling with which park we should visit on Christmas Day.Also want to do Be Our Guest.Help Please.

    Ashley,

    I think your two basic questions are these;

    When can I dine at Be Our Guest? Well it sounds as if you will be able to start making reservations in August, so stay tuned to the Disney Parks Blog to hear when that happens. Based on sample menus I would suggest you definitely try the counter service lunch, as well as the table service dinner! With this being the hot new restaurant, I would say that ANY night that you can get a reservation, take it. And plan around it.

    As for what park to do on Christmas day, that is tough. Purists will tell you that the Magic Kingdom is amazing on that day, and people want to say they were there on Christmas Day. I totally get that. But as you can imagine, I have been around the block more than once when it comes to Walt Disney World. For me I prefer crowd avoidance. I prefer Hollywood Studios or Epcot on that day. Hollywood Studios is oddly overlooked on that day, and Epcot has a lot of space to handle larger crowds. Either way I think it is a more enjoyable Christmas Day experience for me or my family.

    If it were me, here is what I would do, knowing that Fantasmic, Be Our Guest, and Candlelight plans may change things;

    December 18 - Magic Kingdom
    December 19 - Epcot
    December 20 - Hollywood Studios
    December 21 - Magic Kingdom
    December 22 - Epcot or Animal Kingdom
    December 23 - Animal Kingdom
    December 24 - Epcot
    December 25 - Hollywood Studios
    December 26 - Magic Kingdom

    Write me back with information on what else you might want to do, and we can plan further.

    Have a magical vacation!
