    We are going to Disney for 5 days. We are visiting each theme park. What else should we do? Are there resort specific activities we should look into? We are 1st timers with 9, 7 & 5 year olds. Thanks!

    Hi Rose ~

    Planning a first trip to Disney World is super exciting - it can also be a little overwhelming with so much to see and do. No worries, we're hEAR to help!

    I am not sure which resort you are staying at during your trip but each resort offers its own unique recreational activities. For example, if you are staying at the Contemporary Resort, you can rent Sea Raycers and boats to enjoy an afternoon on Bay Lake. Thrillseekers will love parasailing at the Contemporary and those that enjoy something a little more relaxing may want to go on a fishing excursion. Animal Kingdom Lodge offers night vision goggles to view the animals. The resorts usually have pool parties in the afternoons with activities for kids. Many of the resorts offer Movies Under the Stars. When you check in your resort, they will give you a list of activities including the schedule for your stay.

    There are also lots of things to do on property outside of the theme parks and resorts. Be sure to check out Downtown Disney. In addition to great shopping and dining, they have an amazing LEGO Imagination Center. There is also a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique location there (reservations strongly recommended). There are entertainment options that will keep your kids busy.

    Here are some other places to explore:
    * BoardWalk
    * Tri-Circle-D Ranch
    * Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf or Winter Summerland Miniature Golf

    Please feel free to visit us with all of your planning questions. It is our pleasure to assist you!

    Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
