Hello! We are going to Disney for 6 days in December and have the 2016 Disney Dining Plan. We have reservations at the Tusker House and Biergarten and I am confused regarding a table service credit and the buffet. Is it NOT all you can eat?

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thanks for sending us this great question.

You will absolutely LOVE the flexibility of using the Disney Dining Plan! I think you scored some truly fabulous dining reservations at Biergarten Restaurant and Tusker House Restaurant. Kudos to you!

In my experience buffets and family-style meals at the Walt Disney World Resort are all-you-care-to-enjoy culinary experiences. You may be able to eat as much as you wish during that one meal at each of those restaurants. If you are concerned about the dining plan policy which states that you are entitled to "One (1) Full Buffet or Family-Style Meal," I believe it is in place to prevent one of the following scenarios from occurring: (1) guests wishing to stay for multiple meals at the same restaurant, or (2) to deter guests from coming back during the day at a later time. Furthermore, you won't be allowed to take additional servings with you at the conclusion of the meal. However, you may certainly go back through the buffet as many times as you wish while you are dining there.

Disney Mom Tip: Don't forget to take pictures with Donald, Daisy, Mickey and Goofy at Tusker House Restaurant.

Wishing you an unforgettable vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
