Hi - we are in Disney for my daughter's 8th Birthday on April 12th, it is also our last day... I have another daughter who is 9. Any recommendations for a birthday restaurant... doesn't have to be character

    Hello, Kate!

Congratulations on the birthday of your girl! Celebrating at the Walt Disney World Resort is indeed a fantastic treat! Don't forget to check the surprises created by the artists at Disney Floral & Gifts. They are wonderful!

The first idea that comes to my mind is Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White. While it's a character dining experience, it's also a magical version of an upscale dinner. All the courses come in whimsical little portions that make you feel like you're at a multi-course fancy dining experience! This restaurant is inside Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and it's perfect for a resort day!

If they're adventurous eaters, you will also have a wonderful time at the fantastic Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen at Magic Kingdom Park. You will also find fantastic options at Be Our Guest Restaurant and the wonderful 'Ohana, at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Dinner at 1900 Park Fare is also a terrific option. This restaurant is inside Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and the stroll through the lobby is a treat on itself.

Finally, if you're aiming for a fireworks-lit celebration, I'd suggest California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort. This restaurant is fantastic, and the views are breathtaking. Your little princesses will feel very special!

I hope that you have a wonderful celebration at the Walt Disney World Resort this March, Kate! If you have more questions before your trip, please don't hesitate to come back. We will be here to help!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
