We are going on our 1st Disney Cruise with our 4 yr old daughter in March 2013! We are leaving from Galveston on the Magic. What is the weather like on board and at Castaway Cay and Disney World? Not sure what to wear. We are so excited!

    Ahoy there Cammy!
I love that you have chosen the eight-night Bahamian sailing for your first Disney Cruise! I sailed a similar itinerary this summer, and my family had such an amazing time visiting both Castaway Cay and the Walt Disney World Resort!  We also enjoyed having four glorious days at sea to experience all the Disney Magic has to offer!
As you sail away from Texas, you will feel the temps warm, but the ship can still be a bit breezy so you may want to pack some light sweaters, jackets and other items you can layer for cooler mornings and evenings.  I'm usually chilly in the dining rooms and in the entertainment areas so I always bring along a wrap to keep me warm. You will want to pack comfortable clothing for daytime, and check the Disney Cruise Line website for dining attire recommendations for your evenings.  Since you are sailing on a eight-night cruise, you can expect one additional cruise casual night.
Temperatures in the Bahamas range from about 80 degrees to lows in the mid-60s so it should feel quite pleasant for your stop on Disney's private island in March!  Orlando temperatures range from highs around 80 and lows in the mid-50s.  By the time you make it over to the Walt Disney World Resort and start moving around, it will feel very comfortable outside.  If you are planning on staying past 5:30-6:00, I would definitely bring along some layers so everyone will stay comfortable.
I hope this helps, Cammy!  I'm very excited for you to share a Disney Cruise experience with your princess!  Please keep me posted as you continue to plan!  I'm always happy to help!
    Have a magical day!
