We are going on a Disney Cruise in November, it says that you can't bring any perishable items. My child has a milk allergy, so she drinks almond milk. She wants a glass of almond milk once she wakes up, is that something that can be provided?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Chelsea!

I am so excited you will be taking a Very Merrytime Cruise this fall with Captain Mickey.  What a wonderful way to kick off your holiday season!

You are correct that perishable items, including almond milk, are not allowed to be brought onboard per Disney Cruise Line's prohibited items list.  The great news is that Disney Cruise Line is very accommodating when possible so that every guest has a magical time onboard and can enjoy a worry-free vacation.  I have experienced this first hand while traveling with my mother in law who cannot have gluten.

You can contact Disney Cruise Line anytime prior to your sailing to notify them of your child's special dietary needs.  Ingredients and meals can be modified to accommodate your little pirate's milk allergy when dining in the main dining rooms.  You can also order almond milk with your meal in any of the table service dining rooms (which you can dine in for breakfast, lunch and dinner).  Just be sure to discuss your needs with your head server before your meal.

Almond milk is not available at quick service dining or through room service.  If you need to have almond milk in the room, I would recommend you order an extra glass each night at dinner from your service team and store it in the refrigerator in your stateroom for the following morning.

Enjoy making magical memories this holiday season!  Bon voyage!  Angie
