I am on a Disney cruise that leaves from Miami. I want to include a “land” portion to my vacation. Is there any transportation options to get me from the port to the Disney resort? Thx! Sarah

    Ahoy, Sarah and Sergio!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! A Disney Vacation by Land and Sea is my favorite type of vacation! Spending time at Walt Disney World Resort before or after a Disney Cruise is so much fun! If my family spends time at the four theme parks before setting sail, we look forward to relaxing the days away at sea. If we choose to extend our vacation by visiting Walt Disney World after our voyage, it makes leaving our cruise ship a little less sad!

Many Guests sailing aboard itineraries that leave from Miami enjoy spending time at Walt Disney World Resort before or after their cruise. Unfortunately, Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation does not travel between the port of Miami and Walt Disney World Resort. Instead, I recommend renting a car near the port of Miami and driving to Walt Disney World. If you choose to rent a car from either National or Alamo, you could then return the car at the Disney Car Care Center once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort! It's so convenient and easy. Once your "land" vacation begins, you can use Disney's transportation to visit the four theme parks and Disney Springs.

Your upcoming Disney vacation sounds like it will be so much fun! I can't wait for you to experience all the magic on land and at sea! If you have any future questions, please come back and visit us again!
