Going on Disney cruise then heading to parks, will they transport my luggage from cruise to art of animation? If so how long will it take? How long will it take me once we dock on ship to embark to get to Hotel to then get to the parks April 24-27th cruis

Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Amber!

Lots of magic in your horizon as you get ready for your Sea and Land vacation - sounds like my kind of vacation! Getting ready to transition from your Disney Cruise to your Disney Resort & Theme Park vacation is quite easy when you use Disney Cruise Line's ground transportation. It is an extra cost of $70 round trip per person, but it's definitely the most convenient way!

On the last night of your voyage, Disney Cruise makes it easy for you, by picking up your luggage outside of your stateroom door. You won't have to lug your luggage off the ship in the morning, just remember to keep an extra bag along with your change of clothes and shoes. You'll get luggage tags to attach to your bags, so that you'll know where they'll be at the port baggage claim area when you disembark in the morning. You'll need to pick up your bags and get through US Customs, and then you can exit the port to the left where the Disney motor coaches will be waiting for you. This could take anywhere between 20-45 minutes depending on the line. All guests are usually off the ship by around 9:30am and making their way to their next destination.

Disney cast members will direct you to the motor coach that will drop you off at the Art of Animation Resort. You might need to wait a few minutes for other guests to board and you might also need to make 1 or 2 more resort stops along the way. At our last cruise, we were one of the last ones to leave and we boarded the bus at around 10 am. We were at our Disney Resort before 11:30 and we dropped off our bags at bell services since our room wasn't ready yet. We were off to the park in time for lunch!

We tend to move a little slow motion on the last day... but take it slow and leisurely as your sea legs get used to being on land again. Enjoy your vacation, Amber!
