I am going on a Disney cruise to Alaska next year and have heard of the many benefits of booking another cruise before the cruise is over. I was wondering if this also applies to booking at a Disney park as well. We were hoping to book Aulani if possible.

    Ahoy Brandi –
Wow, it is so nice to meet another Brandi that loves cruising as much as I do! Your crew will have an amazing cruise to Alaska with Disney Cruise Line and your unique experience and family memories will be truly unforgettable. Yes, you are correct that one of the best ways to save your gold doubloons is to book your next cruise while you are onboard. You do not have to have a specific date in mind when booking, so I usually book a “placeholder” and then decide when and where I am sailing after my cruise is over. By doing so, guests can save an additional 10% off prevailing rates and score up to $200 of onboard credit. Unfortunately, you can only use these onboard savings for Disney cruises. Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel before or after a cruise can often book a return stay prior to check out at a significant savings – but this must be done at the resort before you leave. Aulani is a tropical Disney Vacation Club Resort in Hawaii and is not included with that deal, however, I am going this summer and I found a great Special Offer where I got 30% off and a $50 daily credit (I checked and the sale is now over). To find sales, check the Special Offer section online at Aulani’s website regularly as well as Disney Cruise Line Special Offers to look for deals. Brandi, thanks for visiting with us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel and I hope you find a sweet deal on your next trip.
