Hi, I have been to Disney a couple times, both as a child and adult, but this will be my boyfriend's first visit coming in January. How can I make Disney exciting and magical for him, so he can experience Disney to the fullest?

    Jordanne,

Make sure that you play both sides of the fence. Let yourselves be kids again, but also enjoy some of the adult-oriented amenities too.

When I visited with my wife (when she was my girlfriend) we made a point of doing most of the 'kiddie' rides, starting with "it's a small world", and hitting most of the usual suspects along the way. It was great for us to just laugh and play without abandon.

But we had some fun grown-up fun too. We did scuba in the Living Seas tank in the DiveQuest program, we had some AMAZING meals, and we stayed out to all hours of the night at Epcot's World Showcase, the BoardWalk, and in the parks.

So plan those meals, find something fun for you both to do together that matches your common interests, but don't be so grown up that you miss all the real Disney fun.

I am glad to help you find some of those special experiences, if you will send me a follow-up question with some information on what you guys like to do, what you like to eat, etc..

    Have a magical vacation!
