I will be at Disney Caribean resort between april 15 to 24. My flight back home is late that evening. Can I ask for a late checkout at the hotel?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Erika!

I hope you are getting excited for your upcoming vacation, you're only about a month away. When requesting a late check-out, they are generally not honored, but it doesn't hurt to ask the front desk the night before your departure. The main issue will be that your travel dates are during Easter weekend and many Spring Break vacations. This means resort occupancy will be high, making it unlikely to honor late check-outs.

However, you will still have access to all the resort amenities on your departure day and you may store your luggage with Bell Services, located in your resort's lobby, for as long as you would like! Check-out will be 11:00am, at that time, store your items with Bell Services and then head to the pool with your day bag. You can also still use Disney Bus Transportation to head to Disney Springs and enjoy a nice lunch before you leave for the airport.

Another thing to consider is Disney's Magical Express Bus Service to Orlando International Airport picks guests that are traveling internationally up from their resort hotels four hours prior to flight time. So you might not have as much time as you thought.

I hope this helps in your planning, Erika! Please do not hesitate to reach out to me directly with any additional questions you may have.

    Have a magical day!
