We are going to the Disney Caribbean Beach Resort on September 24. A lot of reviews on trip advisor suggest requesting rooms close to Old Port Royale in the Martinique section. Just wondering how i get i touch with the hotel to request a section?

    Hi Priscilla,

You can contact the Caribbean Beach Resort directly at (407) 934-3400. You should wait until exactly 9 days prior to your trip, since that is when they get their arrival lists. When you call, ask to speak with the Room Assigner and express your requests at that time. Keep in mind that while Disney does do their best to honor requests based on availability, these are never guaranteed.

I wanted to point out that the majority of the village of Martinique (buildings 24, 25 & 26) are categorized as "Preferred rooms". In addition, Trinidad North is also listed as "Preferred". These villages are on either side of the Old Port Royale and are close to the food court, shopping and the theme pool. Preferred rooms are sold as such as will cost you more per night. You may want to call 407-W-DISNEY to see if any preferred rooms are available if that is what you are hoping for. Otherwise, you can request to be as close as possible to that area in a regular room. All other villages do have an internal shuttle that makes getting around the property a lot more convenient.

    Have a wonderful vacation,
