We are going to the Disney area soon and would like to see the fireworks. Are there place we can go to see them with out going into one of the parks?

    Hi Gwen,

You can view the fireworks from several of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels!  One of the best places is to head to the Polynesian and watch the fireworks from their beach. One thing to keep in mind is that parking a car at the Polynesian can sometimes be an issue if you're not staying there, especially during the holidays. I see you are from Florida, so I'm assuming you will have your own car. If you do want to park at the Polynesian during a busy time, then I recommend making a dinner reservation for before the Wishes fireworks show. If you don't have a car or if you pay to park it in the Magic Kingdom parking lot, then you can just take the monorail to the Polynesian. The view of Wishes from the Polynesian is great because it is directly head-on.

Another option is to watch the fireworks from the Grand Floridian, but you have to watch them from a bit of an angle. I personally prefer the view from the Polynesian the best. You could also make reservations at the California Grill at the top of the Contemporary Resort. This is a cool perspective and is really magical too.

One final suggestion is to book a Specialty Fireworks Cruise or the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. These are really a lot of fun and the view from the lake is fantastic!

Have a wonderful time at Disney World,
