We are going to be at Disney for April Vacation this year. We will be having 9 in our party. 4 adults and kids ranging from 17 to 0. What would be the most economical way to go for a Disney hotel to hold us all? A Villa or multiple rooms? thanks

    Hi Brenda!

Thank you for sending in your question to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel.

This is not an easy question, as it really depends on what you are looking for in a hotel room.  If you want the most luxurious rooms at a resort with a lot of services and amenities, then a Disney Deluxe Villa is definitely the way to go.  My favorite is the Villas at the Wilderness Lodge, followed closely by the Beach Club Villas.  My third favorite is the villas at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

However, if you are looking to just be together and you are just looking for a place to sleep and shower, then you could just get multiple rooms at a Disney Value, Disney Moderate, or Disney Deluxe Resort.  Multiple rooms at a Disney Deluxe Resort are generally on par with the cost of a Disney Deluxe Villa, so you might want to compare the savings by staying at a Disney Value Resort or Disney Moderate Resort.

My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside and my favorite Disney Value Resorts are Pop Century (if you just need standard rooms) and the Art of Animation Resort (if you need a Family Suite).

Our responses are limited in length, but I would be happy to help more.  Just send a question directly to me or any other panelist.  Good luck with your decision!
