we are going to Disney this April but not staying on property. For fast pass- do I need to get a magic band for everyone in our group? And when I do that, how do I set up the fast pass time for everyone? I am the only person who has a Disney.com account

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Michele!

A trip to Walt Disney World Resort is my favorite vacation destination! You have the choice to purchase MagicBands or use the complimentary admission ticket cards when you take advantage of the benefits of FastPass+ reservations. If you would like to use MagicBands, you can purchase them either at the Disney Store online or once you arrive to Walt Disney World Resort. If you would like to use admission cards, you receive them at the ticket windows at the theme parks or through the mail prior to your visit. To redeem your FastPass+ reservation, simply head to the attraction's FastPass+ queue entrance and touch your MagicBand or admission card to the Mickey touch point.

You will be able to use My Disney Experience to book your FastPass+ reservations for your entire group. You can add all of the members of your group into your Friends & Family List, which will allow you to make plans for everyone. In order to make reservations, you must first have purchased all of your theme park tickets and linked them to your My Disney Experience account. When you link them, you will be able to associate them to members of your Friends & Family list. Once your tickets are linked, you can make FastPass+ reservations for your group beginning 30 days in advance of your trip. Since availability is limited for the most popular attractions and events, I recommend making your FastPass+ reservations as early as possible!

Please let us know if you have any other questions! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
