We will be at Disney from April 9-11. My girls are 6&8. Should I do a park hopper and try to do all the different parks? Or should I take it slow and spend two days at Magic Kingdom and then 1 day elsewhere. Could you suggest an itinerary for 1st time

    Hi Irene,

Congratulations on your upcoming spring vacation! You are getting very close; your vacation will be here before you know it!

Irene I think you will have a better experience if you take it slow and visit Magic Kingdom for 2 days followed by another park for your 3rd day. There is so much to see and do that even visiting Magic Kingdom for 2 days will not enable you to see all of the magic in that park alone. This is one of the reasons my family keeps coming back year after year! Magic Kingdom is always my top recommendation for first time Guests, especially for children under 12 years old. Arriving early each day will ensure you get the most out of your visit.

My suggestion for your itinerary begins with making an account for yourself in My Disney Experience and linking your theme park tickets now if you haven't already done so. Linking your tickets will enable you to make your FastPass+ selections when your window opens. Deciding upon which FastPass+ selections will depend largely upon your daughter's interests. One good site for suggested itineraries is This is an unofficial Disney site that requires a small fee to view their touring plans. You can choose plans based on how many attractions you would like to see or the type of party you have such as Princess-loving girls. My top recommendations for FastPass+ selections in general for young girls are:  7 Dwarfs Mine Train, Meet and Greet with Anna and Elsa at Princess Fairytale Hall, Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid, Enchanted Tales with Belle, Peter Pan's Flight, Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

    Hope this helps!
