Does Disney allow pass the baby at the ride? ie., we wait in line together and hubby goes on the ride while I wait, then I pass off the baby to him and go? Just curious since I've been to other amusement parks that do this!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Christy! A trip to Walt Disney World Resort with your husband and baby sounds like so much fun. There are so many exciting things for you to do as a family, and the memories and photos are something you'll cherish forever.

I'm pleased to tell you that, even when you're traveling with a little one who doesn't quite meet the height requirements for your favorite thrill rides, you don't have to miss out on any of your favorite attractions. It sounds like you're familiar with a version of this service, but let me tell you how Rider Switch works at Walt Disney World Resort. If you and your husband want to take turns riding a thrill attraction with a height requirement, approach a Cast Member at the attraction podium and let them know you'd like to ride using Rider Switch. You'll scan your MagicBand so a Rider Switch entitlement can be added, and then the first rider can wait in the standby queue or you can use FastPass+ if you have them. The second rider can then wait outside or enjoy another attraction with the little one! When the first adult is finished riding, you can pass off the baby and scan your MagicBand again to use the Rider Switch entitlement and enter the attraction through the FastPass+ queue. This way, no one has to miss out and you can make the most out of your precious vacation time by not having to wait in line twice. You can use Rider Switch at all four Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, so make sure to check the list of participating attractions while you're planning your trip.

    Have a magical day, Christy!
