This is about the Discover Disney Ticket for Florida residents. My son's spring break is from March 24 to March 30th. The blockout date does not mention this period. Is there a possibility of the spring break dates being blocked out?

    Hi Gomathy,

The Discover Disney ticket is a great deal for Florida residents, and it sounds like it will align perfectly with your son's spring break.

The blockout dates for the tickets overall are just for the week leading up to Easter, which is April 20 this year. In addition, there are a few holiday dates blocked out for Magic Kingdom during President's Day weekend, the week after Easter and Memorial Day weekend. The tickets expire June 6.

Because the dates are announced and well advertised -- and the tickets already are on sale -- I wouldn't expect any changes to restrictions now. So I think you should be all set.

We are passholders, but took advantage of the Discover Disney ticket last year for my college daughter, who did not have an annual pass. We paid a little extra to add the fourth day and the parkhopper option to give her the same flexibility we all had. Even with the extras, the offer was a significant savings.

I hope you and your son have a magical visit during his spring break. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you as you make your plans. Enjoy!
