Is there any disadvantage to booking a resort room separately from theme park tickets rather than as a package? We'd like to use the Canadian ticket offer and it seems to be cheaper to book separately. We're not planning to use a dining plan.

    Dear Erica,

Thank you so much for stopping by to visit us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great question about planning ahead for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

There is no reason not to get the best deal that you can. Adding tickets to a "room only" reservation will get you the same amenities and perks that you would receive by purchasing them as a package. Be sure that after you purchase your Walt Disney World Resort tickets, that you link them to your My Disney Experience account! That way, you will be able to make your FastPass+ selections with no problem!

Hope that helps with your magical planning!
