I am a disabled Vet that has VA benefits with an ID card, but is not 100% disabled. Would love to afford to take my wife and daughter to Disney to Christmas. Would I qualify for military discounts

    Hi John,

Thank you for serving and protecting this nation! I can never express how much I appreciate your service to this country.

There are special discounts available to US military personnel for both resort and tickets. The specials are based on the time of the year and there are blackout dates such as the week between Christmas and New Year. However, you can enjoy much of the holiday magic prior to Christmas if you are able to go before. I recommend you call Disney at 407-939-7830 and ask them your questions.

Also, there are many ways to save on a Disney vacation. You can stay off property. You can bring food with you into the parks by ordering from an online grocer like the Garden Grocer. You can purchase tickets from Undercover Tourist. Mousesavers.com and AllEarsNet.com have great tips on maximizing your dollars.

Wishing you the most magical day!
