Can you use the Disability Assistance Card on all rides and attractions? Would like to use for new, headliner rides, parades and fireworks. Would be nice to be able to do all these with DAS. Thanks!

    Hi Nancy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I have a child with special needs and understand firsthand the blessing of the Disability Access Service for guests who cannot tolerate traditional queues. I'm happy to answer your question!

Yes, once you've visited a Guest Relations location to discuss your concerns about waiting in a standard queue and had the Disability Access Service provided, you should be able to use that on one attraction at a time for any attraction which also utilizes the FastPass+ system. Because the program was designed to assist guests who are not able to wait in standard queues, you will not be able to utilize the Disability Access Service for parades and nighttime experiences since they don't utilize a queue system. Don't forget, though, that you are also able to use the standard FastPass+ service, selecting up to three attractions or experiences per day up to 60 days in advance. Some nighttime experiences, like IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth, are eligible for FastPass+, so you may be able to minimize your wait time using that service instead.

One thing we do for parades and fireworks is have the majority of our party find the perfect viewing spot while one of us walks around a bit with our son so that he doesn't have to wait in one spot quite as long, or we buy some favorite snacks just beforehand so that we all have a special treat while we wait. We often use our time waiting to share what our favorite memories of the day have been and we laugh and smile together remembering all the fun we've had.

I hope that answers your question, Nancy. Have a truly magical vacation and let us know if we can help with anything else!
