Hi Debbie,
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're planning a fun visit to
Disney's Animal Kingdom! As a mom of a child with special needs, I can tell you that I've found the Walt Disney World Resort to be a wonderful vacation destination for
everyone!
The Disability Access Service is just one of the
resources that are available for guests with disabilities. If a Guest in your party has trouble with traditional queues due to their disability, you'll want to visit
Guest Relations when you first arrive to discuss your concerns. If your party is approved for the Disability Access Service, I'm happy to let you know that you'll be able to use that on any attraction that offers a FastPass+ queue, so yes, you would be able to use this service at It's Tough to be a Bug! or Festival of the Lion King. However, I did want to let you know that at some shows, the FastPass+ queue will meet up with the traditional queue and there will still be some waiting with a large group before you'll be seated for the next show. If you have concerns about a member of your party being able to tolerate that, I'd encourage you to speak with a Cast Member at Guest Relations.
Please let us know if you have any other questions, Debbie, and have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
