Dinnerat Rainforest cafe-AK. Park closes at 7.My husband will be meeting us for our 6 dinner. He doesn't have a park pass because he will be at a conference. Will he need to pay to park since we aren't staying on grounds if he is just coming for dinner?

    Hi Jennifer,

Technically yes, your husband will have to pay for parking. Even though he will not be entering the Animal Kingdom itself (the Rainforest Cafe is accessible without a park pass), the restaurant does share the AK parking lot, which is only available for a fee to offsite guests.

I will tell you that in my personal experience, the theme park parking lot gates are often unstaffed in the hour or so before park closing. This means that guests coming to the park at the very end of the day, will likely not be asked to pay for parking.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that that's what he encounters.
