We have dinner reservations at T-Rex in downtown Disney at 5:00 on saturday night. That day we will be at Animal Kingdom. I would like to attend the parade at AK at 3:45 before we leave and head to DTD. How much travel time will we need from AK to DTD?

    Hi Elizabeth!

That sounds like a perfect day to me!   You should allow at least one hour of travel time between locations.  This wouldn't be a problem if the bus wait is short and there isn't a long line of people trying to get out of Animal Kingdom at the same time.

In theory, I think you would be OK if you hustle out of the park right after the parade.  If you see you are running behind, it might be worth calling ahead to T-Rex and letting them know you are en route.  With a reservation at 5:00, it will be crowded and you would probably have a short wait anyway.  I would just make sure they knew you were still coming.

I would also position myself as close to the exit of the park as possible while viewing the parade so you can hit it as soon as it's over.

I hope this helps!  Have a great vacation!
