    Diane Asked

We have dinner reservations at 6:25 at 1900 Park Fare and we will be spending the day at Magic Kindgom, what will be the best and easiest way to get to our dinner reservations and how long will it take us?

    Hi Diane!

Wow, dinner at 1900 Park Fare sounds like an awesome way to wind down from a fun-filled day at the Magic Kingdom!

As far as your question goes, you have two main options to consider:

    Option #1: The Monorail

If you take the resort loop on the Monorail, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa will be your 4th stop.

Option #2: The Resort Boat Launch

If you've been to the Magic Kingdom before, then you've probably seen the massive boat dock near the foot of the Monorail station. On the side that's closest to the Monorail platform, you'll see a dock for boats that take guests to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa (the first stop) and Disney's Polynesian Resort (the second stop).

If I were in your shoes, this would be the option I'd take. While the Monorail is awesome, it's so relaxing to ride on these boats and they put you in the position for incredible views.

If I were you, I'd plan to arrive at either the Monorail station or the boat dock at 5:30 to start the journey. That way, you'll have plenty of time in case of delays or large crowds. I don't like to rush when I'm on vacation at Walt Disney World, so I prefer to give myself a generous amount of time to travel between my destinations.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

If you luck out and have a few minutes to burn before you can be seated for dinner, take a few minutes to browse through the shops within the main building of Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. In these shops, you'll find a unique collection of merchandise and gifts that, in many cases, cannot be found at any other locations in Walt Disney World. (Don't tell anyone, but I'm a Walt Disney World shopaholic!)

I hope that helps! If you should have any other questions, please feel free to send them my way and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
