We are dining at Tusker House on June 9-Donald Duck's Birthday! My kids want to draw him a birthday card or sing to him-would either of these be allowed?

Hello, Melinda!  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Character birthdays are so much fun, in fact, my husband and I were married on Mickey Mouse's birthday, November 18.  It is so fun celebrating with The Big Cheese each year.

Disney characters cannot accept food or money but will take small gifts such as a letter or a drawing.  My daughter has colored pictures for several princesses before and they love it, I am sure Donald will too!  At Tusker House, you will meet Donald Duck before you enter the restaurant.  Because the Cast Members line you up to take a picture with him before you eat, your interaction time does go  quick.  Keep that in mind when you visit.  If you want to sing Happy Birthday to him, rush right up and start otherwise you might not get the chance.  It would even be a cute picture if you brought birthday party hats for you and your children to wear!

Have a magical vacation.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to ask.
