If you make dining reservations that is not in the same park that you spending the day at, can you get to the dining location without paying for another park? Example, if we are at Magic Kingdom and want to eat somewhere in Epcot, can we eat there?

Hello John!  I certainly understand your question and your thinking.  Unfortunately, with any dining reservation, you do need to purchase a park ticket in order to get to any restaurant located in one of the four parks .  Purchasing a Park Hopper would be the best idea for this scenario even though it sure does inflate your price tag.  I would highly recommend just planning to be at a certain park on a certain day and plan your dinning reservations around this.
I hope this helps as you continue planning your Walt Disney World vacation.  Please come and visit us again with any other questions that may come up.  Have a magical day!
