Dining reservations are highly recommended for most of WDW restaurants. Now, in your opinion do you think scheduling too many meals would detract from having fun at WDW in any way? I currently have four reservations on a ten day trip to WDW.

    Hi Jeff!

I absolutely do think that too many reservations could detract from the park touring experience, as you'll be spending most of your time eating...but...we'll there's a whole 'foodie' side to Walt Disney World as well, and it is delicious!  I absolutely suggest that guest book some Table Service meals to enjoy the culinary offerings that Walt Disney World has to offer, that could honestly be a vacation in itself!

If you're trying to strike a balance between reservations and park touring, we've found that one Dining Reservation each day is a good balance.  It gives you a chance to cool off, re-charge and relax (if visiting during a warm time of year).  If you have 2 Dining Reservations on one day, you run the risk of spending 3-4 hours just on meal times.  It can take quite a chunk of time out of park touring.

Right now, with 4 reservations, on a ten day trip, I see no issues with it being too packed.  Sounds like you're doing a great job!

    Have a magical vacation!
