I have a dining reservation at 9:25 at Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. The park doesn't open until 9, and it's a hike to the restaurant. Will we be able to get into the park early to make it to our reservation on time?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Meris! My family and I just returned home from a magical week at the Walt Disney World Resort. We had the most wonderful breakfast at Tusker House with Donald and his pals to start out our day at Animal Kingdom, and I can't wait for you to experience this spot too! Don't miss the Jungle Juice!

Guests with early breakfast reservations are allowed into the park early by checking in on the left side of the entrance to the park, however, since your reservation is after opening time, you don't really need to worry about it. We were at the park gates about an hour before opening time, and about half hour before, all guests were all let in and walked into the center section of the park to wait until the official opening. Since your reservations are at 9:25, you'll have no problem at all getting there in time since you'll be already halfway into the park by 8:30. If you're early enough, you may even be able to head over to Pandora and hop on a quick ride of the new Na'vi River Journey before you go to breakfast! Last week, we were even able to get on the ride before the park officially opened because they allowed guests into the Pandora area around 8:30 and we were happy to find that most guests headed directly to Flight of Passage. Since we had FastPass+ reservations for Flight of Passage later, we instead walked right onto Na'vi River Journey as the very first guests that day and even rode twice before we headed to Tusker House for our 9:30 reservations. You might consider doing the same, Meris! The line for Na'vi River Journey might be over an hour by later in the day, so a fast ride in the morning is your best bet!

Have such fun as you enjoy your day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park!
