We got the dining plus plan and will travel in March 2013. To utilize the DisneyQuest passes and mini-golf passes, what are your recommendations? Actually, any recommendations you have to get the full benefit of the dining plan, outside of just meals. :)

    Hi Amy,

You must be so excited for your upcoming vacation! It sounds like you are planning a fun trip!

I think I need some more information to be able to answer your question, but I'll give it a try. I'm not 100% positive which package you purchased. Since you are talking specifically about mini-golf and Disney Quest, I'm assuming you added the Water Park Fun and More option to your package, along with the regular dining plan option that includes 1 table service meal, 1 quick service meal, and 1 snack per day.

With this option, you get one "fun" visit per day of park tickets, but you can use them in any combination. In other words, if you purchased a 6 day Magic Your Way Pass, you get 6 visits to places like Disney Quest, water parks, or golf. Your ticket is good for 14 days. This means you can spend an entire day outside of the main parks, just doing other activities if you wanted to.

My family loves spending at least one evening at Disney Quest, sometimes two shorter evenings. You can also spend a morning at Blizzard Beach, have lunch and then go to Winter Summerland in the afternoon. (You do have to go before 4:00p.m.)  If water parks aren't your thing, then Fantasia Gardens is a great way to take a break from a day at Epcot or Hollywood Studios.

If this isn't the package that you purchased. If you purchased the Premium Dining Plan, please resubmit a question. That opens up a whole new world of activities.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
