Crystal Palace

Should I get a dining plan? Some restaurants on the disney website don't site prices on their menu. Is this because they only take dining plan guests? How can I see what it would cost to eat at say the Crystal Palace for a non-dining plan guest?

    Hi Carol,

Greetings from a fellow Hoosier! I love to see that you're thinking about one of my favorite aspects of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation...FOOD! My tumbly is getting rumbly just thinking about it! You will love The Crystal Palace, Carol. Being able to meet Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends as you enjoy a buffet of delicious food definitely makes for a wonderful and magical meal!

While a Disney Dining Plan is not necessary, and all restaurants will allow you to pay with cash or credit card (or my favorite option, your MagicBand, which will conveniently allow you to charge your purchases to your Disney Resort hotel room bill), you may find that a Disney Dining Plan adds value and convenience to your vacation. My favorite part about having the Disney Dining Plan is not feeling like I need to watch every single penny. I've been known to not order what I really want just because something else that also sounds good is a few dollars less. Oh bother! It's great to know that I am able to order whatever I'd like and it has already been covered.

At some restaurants, like The Crystal Palace, you won't find specific prices listed because the cost varies based on the time of the year and even the day of the week. I'd encourage you to call (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463 and speak to a Cast Member. They'll be able to give you more accurate price information for your upcoming visit.

Thanks for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Carol. I hope you have a truly magical...and delicious...vacation!
