Does the dining plan begin on the first night of vacation after the 3:00 check-in?

    Hi Sharon!

Thanks so much for sending your question to us here on the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  I absolutely love the Disney Dining Plan and take advantage of it on almost every vacation my family takes to Walt Disney World.  It's so convenient and is such a great value...and there are so many delicious dining options, it gives me an excuse to sample ALL of my favorites.

Your Disney Dining Plan credits will be good from the time you check in to your Disney Resort hotel until midnight on the day you check out.  You'll be able to use those meal and snack credits in any way you'd like up until that time, or until they are gone, whichever comes first.  Any from one day that you don't use will still be available the next day for you, or you can use more than one day's allotment of credits if you'd like.  Before you leave, you'll also want to be sure to check the remaining credits on your account.  I know my family usually has a few snacks left over on our last day, so we usually use those to grab a few items to take with us to have in the airport or for the plane ride home.

I hope that helps, Sharon, and wishing you a magical vacation!  Please write back if we can help answer any other questions as you finalize your pixie-dusted plans.
