we are dining during EMH at the hotel. Will we be able to access the park if it is in progress? do u have to be inside the park at the start or can we watch fireworks at one park and access the park that has EMH after? does the monorail run during EMH?

    Hi Jaime!

You simply have to be staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, the Walt Disney World Swan, the Walt Disney World Dolphin, or the Downtown Disney Hilton to have access to Extra Magic Hours.  You don't have to be in the park at the start of Extra Magic Hours; you can show up at any time.  However, you do have to have the Park Hopper option on your Magic Your Way tickets if you were in a different park earlier in the day.

So you can watch fireworks in one park and then head over to another park with Evening Extra Magic Hours.  Unfortunately, however, the monorail no longer runs during Extra Magic Hours, but Disney does provide other forms of transportation, including more buses to help!

Enjoy planning your magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and write back if you have any more questions!
