Cinderella Royal Table

When dining at a buffet, not everyone is hungry in the party, does everyone need to order a meal? Also, dining at Cinderellas Castle, can adults order off of the kids menu or split an adult meal?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Melissa.

One of my favorite parts of any Walt Disney World Resort vacation is the food! There are so many delectable dining options that it’s impossible even to come close to enjoying them all. This is especially true at restaurants that offer a buffet or all-you-care-to-enjoy option. At each of these restaurants, though, if there is a set price per Guest, then each Guest must pay the same price no matter how much (or how little) they choose to eat. The only price difference is for Mouseketeers between the ages of 3 and 9 (who are charged for a child’s meal) and little ones under two who are able to enjoy complimentary dining “on the Mouse.”

The pricing structure at Cinderella’s Royal Table is the same, with Guests between 3 and 9 charged a set child’s price and Guests 10 and over each incurring the cost of an adult meal. (The children’s menu is reserved for those kids in the 3-9 age range.) While you don’t have the option to carry away leftovers for buffets, you can ask for a to-go container for your leftovers at restaurants like Cinderella’s Royal Table, though.

Prices for most of these restaurants also vary according to the time of day, with breakfast generally being the least expensive option and dinner being the most expensive. One way my family and I like to enjoy these meals is by booking a late breakfast and skipping lunch or a late lunch and skipping dinner. If we need to stave off hunger between meals, we’ll grab a snack like some popcorn or we’ll share a Mickey pretzel.

I hope some of these suggestions will help you and your family choose the restaurant options that will work best for you, Melissa. If you have any additional questions, please don’t hesitate to come back and ask. We’re always happy to help!
