    where to dine for thanksgiving

Hi Catherine! You are going to love celebrating Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World Resort!

While several restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort will have traditional Thanksgiving meals, to me, the best place to celebrate Thanksgiving is at Liberty Tree Tavern in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park. Each day, the restaurant and Cast Members pay tribute to our founding fathers through colonial-style decor and menu items. You can actually enjoy a traditional style Thanksgiving meal any day of the year at Liberty Tree Tavern but to be there on Thanksgiving day is really special!

Thanksgiving at Walt Disney World Resort is truly magical. The theme parks and Resort hotels are decorated for Christmas and everything is so beautiful. Be sure to plan some time to visit Disney Springs as well. It's the perfect time to start your Christmas shopping!

Thanksgiving week is a very popular time of year at Walt Disney World Resort so be sure you make your dining and FastPass+ reservations as soon as your booking windows open.

Have a magical time planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation and please let us know if you have any other questions as you plan your magical Thanksgiving vacation.
