We want to dine with a character and wanted to know if we need to use our park pass to enter anyone of the character meals at any of the resorts?

    Hi Frank,

You will love dining with the characters! It is a great way to get up close and personal with some of the most beloved Disney friends.  The great thing about character dining is that it isn't limited to just within the theme parks. Many of the resorts host character meals in their restaurants. I am happy to report that you do NOT have to have park admission to dine with characters in the resort hotels.

Two of my favorite character meals are actually in the resorts rather than the parks. Chef Mickey's in the Contemporary is a great chance to see Mickey and pals while dining on a magnificent and bountiful buffet while watching the monorails go by overhead. The breakfast at 1900 Park Fare offers the chance to see some classic characters such as Alice, Mary Poppins, Pooh and Tigger. Their buffet offers delicious and hearty selections that will leave you satisfied and ready to start the day out right. However, whichever meal you choose, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Have a fun time rubbing elbows with these "celebrities"!
