What is the diffference from DAS, FASTPASS and FASTPASS+. We have a disable person who is going with us and can not stand in the heat for very long. Thanks

    Hi Penny ~

I have a son with special needs who is heat intolerant and I am happy to assist you.

FASSPASS had now been replaced by Disney FastPass+ service (FP+). FP+ allows you to make your FP+ selections before your trip. You can even make FP+ selections for select character greetings, shows, parades, and fireworks. Here are some details on how FP+ works.

The Disability Access Service Card (DAS) is designed to assist Guests who are unable to wait in a standard queue including Guests with autism or other medical conditions. If the Guest in your party is unable to wait in a regular queue, they can request a DAS by going to Guest Relations at any of the theme parks. A Cast Member will ask each of them some questions so they can determine their specific needs and try to accommodate them to the best of their ability.

Here is some information explaining how to obtain a DAS and how it works in the parks. You can also find some additional information in this list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS.

FP+ can be used in addition to the DAS. If you are eligible to make FP+ selections prior to your trip, I would encourage you to do so.

I provided another Guest with some tips to beat the heat that maybe helpful as well.

Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison V.
