How different is the Unofficial Guide to WDW from the same but the version "with kids"? Wich one do you recommend? THANKS MOMS!!!

If you're going to get one, I'd get the full Unofficial Guide to WDW. Most of the information in the "with kids" version is abridged from the full version. They've just pulled out the data that is most relevant to keeping the kiddos happy.

There are many, many Disney guide books out there. The Unofficial Guide is first one I recommend to any Disney traveler. Much like the Moms Panel, they give you the real scoop on what actual guest experiences have been. In my mind, it is the biggest must-purchase item for a Disney trip. I've already pre-ordered the 2009 edition.

    Some other great guides are:

Passporter Guide to WDW -- the best maps ever and some unique planning tools
Open Mouse Guide -- from the Passporter family, a must-have for any guest with disabilities
Birnbaum's Official Guide -- the party line and good photos
E-Z Fun Guide to WDW -- a hard-to-find mom-and-pop guide (I got mine on Amazon) that has the most cogent coverage the transportation system I have found
The Complete Guide to Walt Disney World -- also fabulous pictures and very readable ride descriptions.

In the interest of being fully informed, I'd buy the Unofficial Guide and take a look at least one of the others I've listed. Many public libraries stock a range of Disney guide books.
