    Tami from FL Asked

What are the different dining rotations for disney magic 7 night? We are going to Europe if that matters.

    Ahoy, Tami!
You've asked about one of my favorite Disney Cruise Line topics-the delectable dining! When I read your question a few different things popped in my head so hopefully I will provide you with the answers you are looking for and if not, please write back for clarification.
On the seven-night sailings, you can plan on five cruise casual nights, one semi-formal night and one formal night. The formal night is typically scheduled for Day Two while the semi-formal night occurs later in the week (usually Day 5 or Day 6). Scheduling is always subject to change so you'll want to check your first daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app (free for download for Apple or Android devices) once you are aboard. Each night you'll rotate to the three main dining rooms-Animator's Palate, Carioca's and Lumiére's. On your seven-night cruise, you'll visit each of these beautifully themed restaurants twice and one three times. You'll find out your specific rotation when you receive your "Key to the World" card at the port. On the seven-night European sailings this past summer, Guests enjoyed three standard rotational meals, a Prince and Princess-themed dinner, a Frozen-themed dinner, the Captain's Gala and the final night, 'Til We Meet Again.
If you're planning a night at Palo, I suggest securing a reservation ahead of time when you are able to book onboard experiences. If you get onboard and realize it doesn't work with your rotation, you can try to reschedule since Palo does hold back some reservations for embarkation day. You'll find directions for making dining changes in the Personal Navigator or on the app.
Thank you for sending in your question, Tami! Please write back if we can help further.
