What is the difference between a standard room and a preferred room in the pop century hotel at walt disney world?

    Hey Carmen-

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms. We love Disney’s Pop Century Resort and have called it home three times in the past few years. The Hippy Dippy Pool is our regular Saturday hangout where we boogie down to great tunes and play poolside games.  The kids even love going over to the Computer Pool and playing games where they race to “type” their names on the giant keyboard. Even the food court, Everything Pop, inside Classics Hall has delightful dishes my kids devour. This resort just makes our lives easy, affordable and fun.

Rooms come in four flavors: Standard, Standard Pool View, Preferred and Preferred Pool View. Preferred are different from standard rooms because preferred rooms place you very close to the lobby and bus transportation. This reduces you walk to the most common areas of the resort. Preferred Pool View gives you the same benefits as a preferred room and puts you in the 60’s building overlooking the Hippy Dippy Pool. This map should give you an idea of the resort layout.

Please let us know if there is anything else we may do to help you plan your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

    Enjoy making many Magical Memories!
