What's the difference between Photo Pass and Memory Maker? Is Memory Maker worth the extra money?

    Hello, Charlotte!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love using the complimentary Disney PhotoPass Service while we are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. As you tour the resort, collect your photos by having the PhotoPass photographer scan either your MagicBand or a PhotoPass Card. If you are wearing an active MagicBand, select attractions automatically associate your photo to your My Disney Experience account. You can choose to purchase your photos individually, but I choose to purchase Memory Maker. Whether it's your little one's first ride on Space Mountain or a precious hug with Cinderella, Memory Maker allows you to have instant access to the photos in your account. In addition, you can choose to edit, add fun borders, or download the photos as many times as you wish.

In my opinion, what really makes Memory Maker a great value is that it includes attraction photos. I have to admit that I love seeing my son's expression as we drop into the briar patch on Splash Mountain. Recently, select attractions now have videos that capture your family's ride. These videos are only available to download with the purchase of Memory Maker. You can take advantage of the Memory Maker advanced purchase savings offer here.

I hope this answers your questions and you choose to purchase Memory Maker. Please let me know if I can help you with any other questions.

Have a magical time making memories!
