What is the difference in the Family and Friends list for People I have plans with and People I do not have plans with?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Annette. You bring up a great question!

I have always loved how easily I can make plans through My Disney Experience and the My Disney Experience Mobile app.

Right now I am planning a "Mom and Dad only" quick getaway and so on my app there is a delineation between who is on the current plans and who is just connected.  Once you start making dining reservations or Fastpass+ selections, you will simply click on the names of the family or friends you'd like to add and they will show up under "We're Planning Together." Any other connected family will show up below that under the heading, "My Other Family & Friends." A few years ago we took my father-in-law when we stayed at Disney's Art of Animation Resort and while he is not coming along on this trip, his name still is listed along with my kids, just inactive.

If you're not quite sure how to add members to your list to begin planning, click on My Family & Friends to get started.

Annette, I hope this helps as you're making plans with your traveling party! Best wishes for a trip filled with pixie dust and Magical memories.

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Pennsylvania

Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Disney Vacation Club and Walt Disney World Resort questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
