what is the difference between the Dining Plan/couonter service and Table service plan? We dont have any meals included in any packages, I am assuming we are " regular paying customers" . what are benefits of other plans? Have 5 yr old w/ us- T

Hi, Patty!  The counter service plan allows you to visit the counter service locations - the ones where you walk up to the counter to purchase your meal.  Table service restaurants are the sit down restaurants, where a server comes to take your order and brings you food (although the buffet dining experiences are also considered table service).

Including a dining plan with your package is a great way to budget for your meals.  You pay everything up front, before you get to Walt Disney World, and then you don't have to worry about factoring in money for meals.  Some people find they get a better value for their dining dollar with the plan, as you can order anything you want on the menu.  I know people who make it their mission to come out a little bit ahead of the game.

Your five year old would get the children's plan, which allows him to order anything from the children's menu.

    I hope this helps!
