Hi Sara and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you have a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort fast approaching! There’s so much fun to be had at the parks this Autumn!
When making
FastPass+ selections, you will only be able to book your selections one park at a time in advance. You will be able to view FastPass+ availability at other theme parks on the same day, but if you do make new selections, they will replace your original ones. You can't have selections for two different parks on the same day. But don’t worry, your My Disney Experience app will warn you of the change and its implications before you accept them.
If you decide to keep your first set of selections at the Magic Kingdom Park, once you have used all of your selections, or they have timed out, you will be able to make new ones at a different park. For example, my family and I have enjoyed lots of time at the Magic Kingdom Park and have used two out of our three advance selections. We decide to hop to Epcot to see what is available for us to ride. I get lucky and am able to snag a FastPass+ selection for Soarin’ Around the World! After my ride, I have used my first three advance selections. Now I can make one FastPass+ selection at a time.
Sara, your best bet (and what my family and I have done many times) is to take a look at the wait times for the next theme park you are wanting to visit. Many times, you can make at least a couple of the wait times work for your family. You get to enjoy those attractions and then you can attempt to make selections for remaining FastPass+ windows for other attractions.
I hope I’ve cleared up the FastPass+ confusion. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any other questions! Helping you with the details of your trip is our favorite thing to do!
