i didnt get the dining plan when booking cause it was 1400 more for 2 adults and a 9 year old how much money should i bring on average for food staying at art of a for 10days 9 nights not looking at going all out like huge steak dinners every nighteith

    Hi, Brian!

Dining pricing is all over the place but here are some figures to think about:

-A counter service meal with a beverage is about $11 - $13.  Adding a dessert will be between $3 - $4. Kids Meals usually include an entrée with two and a beverage for around $6 - $7.
-The price of table service meals can run from about $15 to $50 per person depending on the restaurant and what you order. To view menus and pricing, check out AllEars.net. While information is subject to change, you will get a good feel of what is available. , but since they are All You Care to Eat, you probably can have a nice lunch buffet then just have a light snack for dinner.

Now, after all the news on what dining will cost you, here are some tips for SAVING money!

-Buy a Rapid Refill Mug for length of stay. At about $17.99 this seems like a lot, but this will allow you free beverages at your resort for your entire stay. Coffee in the morning, a soft drink in the afternoon while hanging at the pool, an iced tea in the evening. If you think about it, this can really add up.
-Skip a full breakfast. For under $1 you can get 2 slices of bread in your food court. Pop it in the toaster, fill your mug and you have breakfast! Or, bring along in your suitcase a box of cereal bars and you can even eat on the go.
-Since you will have all the drinks you want at your resort if you get the Rapid Refill Mug, skip pricey drinks in the parks. Cups of ice water are always free, and it is good to keep hydrated.  With soft drinks costing around $3 each, that really adds up.

So what is the final answer to your question?  Plan on about $130 per day and you should be well covered for your dining.  Remember, this number can really change depending on your plans.  Good luck and have fun!
