Hi Diane - I am travelling to WDW August 12-19 for the first time. My family and I will be staying at the Contemporary. I've heard great reviews on the Electric Water Parade - what time can I view it and where is the best viewing point?

Hi Maria - thanks for your question!

If watching from the Contemporary, you'll want to head out to the marina area.  Or if you have a room facing Bay Lake, you'll be able to see it from your room.  Below are the typical times (weather permitting) for the Pageant.  As you can see the Pageant will arrive around 10:05  If you prefer to see it earlier, you can monorail over to the Polynesian and watch it at the beach. Please note that if fireworks are scheduled to go off at 9:00 at Magic Kingdom, the Pageant will wait at the Polynesian and start as soon as the fireworks have completed.

    Polynesian - 9:00 p.m.
    Grand Floridian - 9:15 p.m.
    Wilderness Lodge - 9:35 p.m.
    Fort Wilderness - 9:45 p.m.
    Contemporary Resort - 10:05 p.m.
Magic Kingdom - 10:20 p.m. (only during extended park hours)

    Enjoy!  Diane
