    Spencer from TX Asked

Hi Kristen, Recently i've been diagnosed with IBS and i'm looking for the park that has the best Gluten free/non-GMO food. Flavor is not really important. Any help you could provide would be most appreciated. Thanks

Hi Spencer! This is such a treat to help another Texan! Rest assured that of all the places where you need to worry about your newly discovered food allergies, Walt Disney World Resort is NOT one of them. I was told to experiment with giving up gluten for a year myself, and while challenging at first, I never felt like I was left out when dining at Disney. Huge strides have been made to be inclusive of numerous dietary needs, so you really can enjoy every inch Disney has to offer without avoiding a certain park.

Be sure to update any current dining reservations you may have to include your new dietary requests, or note them when making new selections. Chefs can whip up a number of delicious alternatives to a whole host of special dietary requests, like g-free Mickey Waffles, but it's best to give them at least 14 days notice. Updates can be made in your My Disney Experience account, and you can also email Special.Diets@DisneyWorld.com with any further questions you may have.

Table-Service restaurants are going to be your best bets when it comes alternatives, but don't write off those quick service locations - you can find everything from salmon and broccoli (Columbia Harbor House) to a Mediterranean salad (ABC Commissary) to a ribs, chicken, and pulled pork sampler platter (Flame Tree Barbecue).

And when you're hankering for a snack, indulge in a Dole Whip, have a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar, go for the freshly popped popcorn, have a sundae, feast on a turkey leg, or enjoy a margarita as all are gluten-free. You'll even find prepackaged gluten-free cookies and brownies at many snack locations.

I do hope this answer has you even more excited for your upcoming trip, Spencer, and we'll see you real soon!
